Here's the skinny.
Work Equip 01s are a simple design, and these are the old school ones from the early '80s with the smaller centre and bigger step in the lip.
Because of that design simplicity, they literally suit everything!
This set came to us in pretty good condition but we ran them through the whole gamut anyway because we are doing the In Depth Build on the YouTubes (Like and Subscribe)
Aaaanyway, the old lips were removed and sent to the recyclers, and the wheels were put through the dunk tank to strip most of the paint, then put through the wet blaster the remove what was left along with any surface corrosion.
from here it's all new-
New 2.5" lips were sourced and polished, then welded to the wheels.
Satin black powdercoat was applied, then the spoke tops diamond cut as per original.
New black zinc steel seats were pressed in, then we added new black zinc high tensile rim screws along with new alloy washers.
The welds were then sealed.
Lastly, new original type chrome valves were added along with new centre caps.
